Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tanksley and family of Indianapolis spent I Sunday with Mrs. Avaril Huller ■ and called on Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Shuck. Mrs. Daisy Youngerman has returned to Fillmore. She spent two weeks in Indianapolis with Mrs. Leona Decker, who is beti ter at this writing.
World Day of Prayer will be at Bethel Baptist Church Friday, Feb. 10, with other community churches participating. Randy Robinson on furlough from Viet Nam, will speak. Callers on Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wells were Mrs. Lena Bryan, Mrs. Marjorie Oliver, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Cunningham.
Malcolm Wade, post master, has had the flu and absent from work for a week. At the Fillmore Methodist Church, those under twelve years of age have their own Sunday School in the Recreation Building with opening exercises, Worship service, lesson, etc. with closing in the church with the adult department. Mr. and Mrs. Oran Buis visited Sunday in Brownsburg with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jackson and sons. On Feb. 14, the Faith Circle WSCS will meet at the Methodist Recreation Building at 11 o’clock for luncheon. Members please bring a covered dish, a
guest and a Valentine for herself and guest. Members please note the time of the meeting. Circle I WSCS will meet all day Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Recreation Building to work on a quilt. Members bring food and big needles and thimbles. Read 1st Peter. The seniors of the Fillmore High School attended the State Legislature in Indianapolis on Thursday and found it interesting and informative. Several met the Governor.
