The official New China News Agency NCNA today also accused the Macao government of “fascist atrocities” against the overwhelming Chinese population of this Portuguese colony in the Red China mainland. The broadcast and reported demonstrations were the strongest reaction by the Peking government to last weekend's rioting between police and proCommunist Chinese demonstrators and added to the growing tension between Macao and its Communist neighbor. Young proPeking Chinese students went on a three-day rampage of destruction during the weekend. Police opened fire and eight persons were killed and at least 70 seriously injured.
