LITTER IS BAD FOR FISHING, TOO NEW YORK UPI—The litterbug is a double hazard to sports fishermen, according to C. R. Gutermuth, vice president of the Wildlife Management Institute and a member of the Y nal Advisory Council of Keep .America Beautiful. Litter, says Gutermuth, can become a form of pollution detrimental to the better game fish, such as trout and bass, that require fresh, clean water. And, he says, litter also prompts property owners to post their land, thereby keeping fishermen away from their tavorite haunts.

VENEZUELAN IMMIGRATION CARACAS UPI — Almost 8 per cent of Venzuela’s 9 million inhabitants are foreigners from about 75 different nations. Sixty-two per cent of the 700,000 foreigners in Venezuela live in Caracas, the capital city of about 1.5 million population. The largest foreign colonies in the country are from Spain including many immigrants from the Canary Islands, Italy. Portugal and the United States —in that order.
