Josephine Rader Rites At Brazil Mrs. Josephine Rader, 34, Brazil R. 2, died Monday at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. Survivors are: her husband, Paul H. Rader; three daughters, Debra, Donna and Paulina all at home; one son, Paul, at home; five sisters, Mrs. Albert Gilligan and Mrs. Earl Pirtle, Arizona; Mrs. Galbert Bond, and Mrs. Barbara Mosteller, Reelsville, and Mrs. Ted Whitehead, Ladoga; four brothers, Arthur LaFollette, Carmel; Thomas, Reelsville; Charles, Massachusetts and Frank of Brazil; her mother, Mrs. Ethel LaFollette, Brazil R. 3. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 p. m. at the Miller A Sons Funeral Home in Brazil, with interment in Calcutta Cemetery. Friends may call at the Miller * Sons Funeral Home In Brazil after 4:00 p. m. Wednesday.

Maple Heights Craft Club Meets The Maple Heights Craft Club met Aug. 10, with Mrs. Mayme McCullough. The lesson was a Toaster Cover Doll given by Mayme McCullough. Irene Grubb had some pillows on display made of hair curler caps. There also was on display some plaques made of weeds and seeds that were very at-
tractive. These were made by Mrs. Cully Wilson of Roachdale. The hostess served delicious refreshments There were three guests present, Mrs. Flossie NtcCullough, Ruth Fry, and Mrs. Cully Wilson, who became a new member for one year. The next meeting is to be held at the home of Mary Stone.

Ladies Aid Meets At Russellville The Ladies Aid of the Russellville Christian Church held their regular all day meeting Thursday, August 18, in the church basement. President, Flora Lee Hazlett opened the business meeting at 1:30 p.m. with the reading of a poem, “Ain’t God Good to Indiana.” Miss Linda Niles gave a report on her trip to Europe. The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. The president announced that “The Laymans Bible Encyclopedia” (3 books) has been purchased for reference. Plans were discussed about the bazaar and smorgasboard coming November 5th. Cards were sent to Nell Gross and Melissa Harbison. The meeting closed with the Aid benediction.

Killed In Viet LOGANSPORT UPI -* Mrs. Mary Gallagher, R. R. 2, Logansport, received a telegram today informing her that her son, Pfc. Frank Gallagher, 19, was killed in action Saturday on combat duty in Viet Nam. Gallagher was a native of Vigo County and attended schools in Sullivan County.

Three Youthful Escapees Caught FORT WAYNE UPI — Three Indiana Boys School escapees were apprehended in Allen County Monday within a fourhour period. Police said Joseph Armin, 17, Lafayette, Michael Edmond, 16, Indianapolis, and James H. Moore, 17, escaped from the Plainfield school last Saturday in a stolen car. State Police chased the three youths Sunday night but they abandoned the stolen vehicle and ran away. Armin and Edmond were apprehended in a soybean field 15 miles west of Fort Wayne Monday afternoon. A Roanoke farmer caught Moore after he was spotted on the farm 10 miles west of Fort Wayne by the farmer’s seven-year-old daughter. The youths were being held in
