Mr. and Mr*. Vem Sigler were visitor* Saturday evening of Mr. and Mr*. Robert Thomas of Greencastle, R. 4. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas have moved into their new home which has been built recently on their farm, formerly known as the Frank McLinden farm. Mrs. Mary Barker of Rockville is a house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker. Sunday afternoon callers of the Barkers were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Barker of Indianapolis. Mrs. Warren Caywood and Mrs. Caryl Porter visited Mrs. Earl Mitchell of Indianapolis last Thursday. The Union Chapel Ladies Aid met at the home of Mrs. Jake Martin last Wedesday after-

noon.

Mrs. Albert Whitehead called on Mrs. Russell O’Haver Friday evening. Mrs. Warren Knauer of Muncie called on Mr. and Mrs. Z. B. Burkett last Wednesday after-

noon.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Newgent and family have been house guests of Mrs. Newgent * mother, Mrs. Dewey Stultz. They left Monday for their home in Florida. On Sunday all of Mrs. Stultz* children and their families spent the day at her home to visit with the Newgents. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Unger and Mrs. Hattie Unger visited Georg* Unger at Community Hospital in Indianpolis last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Stultz and sons entertained wtih a Father’s Day dinner Saturday evening in honor of Mrs. Stultz’ father, James Frazier. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Frazier and children, Joy and Ron, and Mr. and Mrs. William Woodrum, Jr., and sons, all of near North Salem. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Janson and children were house guests of Mrs. Janson’* parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bettis from Friday until Monday when they returned to their home in Rockford, Til- Dorothy Bettis of Cincinnati also spent the week end with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCullough of Greencastle called on Mr. and Mrs. Jake Martin Sunday afternoon. Michael Stultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Georg* Stultz, spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stultz and sons. Mrs. Clarence Humphrey was a Sunday dinner guest of Mrs. Russell O’Haver. Mr. and Mrs. James Wagner returned home Sunday afternoon after a trip to Oklahoma City, Okla. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Martin called at the Barns Funeral Home in Rockville on Saturday to pay their respects to the Isa Martin family. They had supper Saturday evening with Mrs. Ethel Snider of Rockville. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Martin and children spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Brad Taylor and family of Howell, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clodfelter and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Yochum attended the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Milligan of Waveland on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Roscoe White has returned to her home after an extended visit wtih her sisters and her mother in Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Hurst were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Goode. Mr. and Mrs. Mike O’Hair and sons attended the Rule reunion Sunday at Robe-Ann Park, Greencastle. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Miller and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Albin and baby, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike O’Hair and sons were Father's Day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Albin Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Williams of Canton, N. C., were house guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Allgood. Mr. Williams is a cousin of Mrs. Allgood. The Williams also visited Mr. and Mrs. Terrell Clones, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Clones and relatives in Roachdale. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Terhune and Brenda, Mrs. Marie Bennett, Miss Kathleen Gladson all attended the “Wizard of Oz” play Saturday night. Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Dale Terhune, Brenda and Gary attended the Cub Scout Pack 97 meeting, held at Bill Porter’s at Brick Chapel. See Increase In Hog Production WASHINGTON UPI—Heavier hog supplies and possibly lower pork prices late this year and early next year were indicated today by an Agriculture Department survey predicting that pig production in the 1966 June-November fall season will be 10 per cent above last year’s level. The report also estimated pig crop at 41.8 million head ! compared to 38 million a year | earlier. The repport also estimated

that pig output in the spring season, the six months ending last May, was 47 million head, also 19 per cent above a year earlier. The department said total 1966 pig production would be 88.8 million head, 10 per cent above the 80.8 million of a year earlier, but still below the 91.8 million average for the 1960-64 period.
