Several from Fillmore attended the IBM picnic at Riverside Park in Indianapolis. Another Lions Club Frolics ended Saturday night with a large crowd enjoying the beautiful weekend. About thirty relatives spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Huller and daughters. Her father, Harry Neier left Sunday evening for his home in Florida. Mrs. Neier will follow later. Faith Circle WSCS met Tuesday a.m. at the Recreation Building. Mrs. Marjorie Buchanaan gave the lesson on “Are 90% of us segregationist at hearts” which was followed by an aminated discussion. orial Church. Guests were the families and close friends of the couple. Willie McCammack and daughter, Mrs. Van Nuys of Amo, called Monday afternoon on Mrs. Ida Day. Mr. McCammack and Mrs. Day attended the Walnut Chapel Friends Church more than 80 years ago. Mrs. Ruth Smith entertained the Star-light-ers Monday evening. Members answered roll call with vacation plans. The hostess served delicious refreshments. Lonnie Hubbard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hubbard, fell Friday, split his chin, broke several teeth and his jaw in
two places. He was taken to Putnam County Hospital where six stitches were put in his chin, on Friday. On Tuesday he was tEiken to Robert Long Hospital to have his jaws fixed. John Ragan of Milwaukee, Wis. spent the week-end of June 12 with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Ragan. Mrs. Jean Kress and daughter, Patsy of near Chicago visited Monday till Friday with Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Ragan. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tanksley and children of Indianapolis visited Tuesday till Thursday with Mrs. Avaril Huller. Miss Josie Lineberry and Miss Mirian Lineberry of Col-i
umbus, Ohio spent Wednesday and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Shuck. Mrs. Goldie Sullivan of Tampa, Florida, has been visiting her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hobart Buchanan. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Miller and daughter, Jackie, left June 5th for a two week vacation at Jacksonville Beach, Florida, after seven days in Florida, the hurricane drove them out, so they arrived home Tuesday night, just ten days after leaving home. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Paline of Shelburn spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Don Whitehead and i daughters.
Sue Kay Wade and Danny St. John were united in marriage Sunday, June 19 in Fillmore Methodist Church in a beautiful ceremony, with Rev. Claude McClure officiating. The church was filled with many out-of-town guests. More than one hundred attended the reception in the Reception Building. The Methodist Vacation Bible School will start Monday am. at 9:15 and close Friday p.m. The Christian Church Vacation Bible School was last week; Monday through Friday, with a nice program Sunday during Sunday School period.
