Obituaries

Rites Saturday For J. F. Allen Joseph F. Allen, 71, died Thursday at his home in Guion, Ind. where he owned and operated an automotive, paint and body shop. Mr. Allen was married to Zella Hamm on May 22, 1946 at Greenfield. He was born in Massachusetts. He had lived at Guion for 20 years. Survivors are the widow, two step-daughters, Mrs. Dessa Talbot of Indianapolis and Mrs. Mary Louise Smith of California, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland in charge of the Rev. Porter. Burial will b« in the Brick Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the fu« neral home.
