Obituaries Mrs. Thompson's Rites Thursday Mrs. Sarah F. Thompson, 80, a former resident of Parke County and well known in the Lena Community, died Tuesday at Mishawaka, where she had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Clarinda Martin. Survivors besides Mrs. Martin, are another daughter, Mrs. Iona Jones, also of Mishawaka; two sons, Willard X. Thompson of Brasil, R. 3, and John R. Thompson of Elkhart; thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a. m. at the Miliar 6c Sons Funeral Hone in Brazil. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Manorial Park at Terre Haute. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime. Mrs. Delia Gay Died Tuesday Mrs. Della Guy, $8, Martinavilla, passed away in the Putnam County Hospital Tuesday where As had been admitted Monday. According to hospital records, next of kin is a son. Gall Guy. The body was taken to the Cure A Hensley Funeral Home in Martinsville.

FINNS ARE HOSTS NEW YORK UPI — Finland will play host to two international conventions this summer. Meeting in Helsinki in August will be the International Law Association. Lahti, a Finnish city in the center of the lake country is the site for a meeting of the International Federation of Translators.

A very rewarding meeting with 7 members, David Rogier of Schellie Associates, Holland Mross at 701 Program, and representatives of the League of Women Voters present was held. Norman Knights reviewed Ideas expressed at the last meeting with civic leaders. A letter from the League telling of the areas they wished emphasized was read. Those areas were transportation, annexation, imprqvemsnts in business district end community facilities including fire safety. The Scope of Services developed by Shellie Associates was then gene ova: carefully to determine If it covered the needs at this community. Students Riot At Terre Haute TERRE HAUTE UPI — Indiana State University students swarmed through downtown Terre Haute Tuesday night, causing minor damage to stores sad peliee cars. At least two police ears were damaged when students pelted officers with rocks and debris as they tried to halt the demon■tration. Some store windows were breksn. The demonstration, for no apparent reason, broke out shortly before midnight when several hundred men students marched to the business district from the downtown campus. During the demonstration, students turned in three false fire alarms, bringing firefighting equipment rushing into the business district. As police attempted to disperse the students they were greeted with rocks and debris and one university guard wo struck In the leg with a rock. He wo not hurt seriously.

Local Women To New Albany Meeting State Council of the League of Women Voters of Indiana will meet May 18-19 at New Albany. Attending from the Greencastle League will be Mesdames Clifton Phillips, John Ricketts, and J. P. Allen. This year the Leagues of Indiana have begun a study of the Indiana Judicial System. Highlight of the Wednesday luncheon will be a talk by Glenn R. Winters, Executive Director of the American Judicature Society. Following a panel of experts will give their reactions to his comments In the light of their own experience with the Indiana judicial system and any proposals they have for
its revision.

| RCA Employees Attend Seminar Marilyn Shaughnessy, Nancy Hutchison, and Mary H. Heath from the Greencastle Production Credit Association office attended the Indiana Girts Seminar at the Holiday Inn South, Indianapolis, May 12 and 18. The seminar was held to acquaint tha more than 100
bookkeepers and field office
secretaries with the new legal, credit, public relations and operation procedure changes. The program was conducted
jointly by Production Credit employees and officers, and
employees of the Federal Inter-
mediate Credit Bank of Louisville. There are ten Production Credit Associations in the State
of Indiana and, in addition to these ten “central” offices, there are seventy branch or
field offices across the state.
The Louisville bank serves as
an intermediate source of credit between the money markets of
the country and some 100,000 farmer-members located in the four States Of Ohio, Indiana^ Kentucky and Tennessee. In 1965 more than $530 million dollars disbursed in the
four states. Of this total
amount more than $150 million went to Indiana fanners in short and intermediate term loans. Loans are made for terms of from one to seven years.
