AUcd Ttenagtr'i View (By Janet Staab) Small fry play, teenagers continue their childhoods, middleaged persons let Chow their second childhood, and senior citixens dream — that’s what goes on in our city park. Playground aquipment is In use almost all the time as mothers taka young children for an outing, or a teenage boy pulls boyish antics to charm his girl. Even cider persons can be seen taking turns swinging or going up and down on the seesaws. During the warm days of the summer season all ages take part in the use of the swimming pool. Not only do the man-made recreational objects promote fun, but the naturalistic layout of the park does too. The hills are just right to ride a bike down or tq roll dowm. The trees are just right for climbing but it isn’t recommended, because it is too easy to get stuck — just ask the little boy who was imprisoned in one of the woody things last Saturday. The trees do make good shade over the usually filled picnic tables. This year, like several in the past, a group of ambitious DePauw students volunteered to have a “spring cleaning” of the park. They did a wonderful job getting rid of the winter’s collection of debris and loosening the chains of the swings. BY THE WAY: Isn’t it wonderful to live in such a neat

world!
