Air Foret Hikes Its Enlistments United fitates Air Force Recruiter for Parke, Putnam, Vermillion, Fountain, and Montgomery counties, S/Sgt Jerry D. McQuinn announced today the Air Force has increased the enlistment allocations 60 per cent for the month of April and May to coincide with the expected increase in draft calls. The Air Force has this month removed some ef the restrictions on Air Fores Enlistments. Non High School graduates may apply for enlistment at this time. Married personnel are eligible as long as they have only one (1) dependent. Prior Service Program (veterans of all branches) has undergone major changes. Previously, veterans who were last separated from any branch in pay grade E-4 or lower and had over eight years service were ineligible. Effective April 1, personnel who have up to 12 years of service may re-enlist if they were separated from service less than three years ago. Air Force in almost all cases can receive applicant’s base of choice with assignment and grade guaranteed before enlistment. Applications are needed for Women in the Air Force (WAF) and for the Nurse Programs. Young women may make application for the Air Force as long

Cheek Artist On FBI Wanted list WASHINGTON UPI—James Robert Ringrose, a fast-moving bad-check artist and. narcotics addict, was placed today on the FBI’s Hst of 10 most wanted criminate. The FBI warns that the 23-year-old fugitive is armed and “extremely dangerous.’’ He has been sought since Feb. 26, 1965, when he passed a bad check on a New York bank. Known to the underworld as “the linger,’’ Ringrose is credited with netting hundreds of thousands of dollars through his bad Check exploits and Is also suspected in a number of armed robberies throughout the United States. The range of his operations was demonstrated in September, 1964, when he defrauded a bank in Minneapolis of *3.000 on one day and the following day was arrested after a gun battle in Seattle, Wash., where he attempted a similar scheme. The wanted man, a native of

Iowa City, Iowa, has a number of arresta on Us record for check passing and one in California for possession of narcotics. Ringrose is described as highly intelligent and dresses conservatively in Ivy League fashion. He speaks Spanish fluently and is an excellent auto mechanic who can rebuild stock cars and attends races frequently.
