Launching Set For UJ. Satellite CAPE KENNEDY UPI — A star gazing satellite carrying 10 telescopes was poised for its fourth launch attempt today atop an Atlas-Agena rocket that did everything but fly last week. The 3,900-pound Orbiting Astronomical Observatory (OAO) was set for a 2:51 p.m., EST blastoff. It will be followed Tuesday monung by the second attempt to send an AtlasCentaur moonprobe launcher on an important test flight. The flying observatory was programmed to soar into an orbit 500 miles high to give its electronic eyes a clear view of ‘the universe from above the hazy Sea of Atmosphere that blurs the sight for even the most powerful ground telescopes. The satellite’s observations may help man unlock some of the secrets of the universe
