The Auxiliary of Cloverdale Barrack No. 1994, met on Tuesday evening with a pitch-in dinner at 7:00 p. m. The invocation was given by Willie Shumaker, after the dinner the group separated for their business meeting. There were 14 auxiliary members present and 11 'members of the Barrack present. The Auxiliary meeting was called to order by Nina Gaston, the vice president, the president, Mary Hurst bong sick. Get well cards were sent to five members that were sick, reports of the five members that worked at the 10th St. Veteran Hospital for one day. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Fry visited with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Zachary of near Ladoga on Sunday. The Zacharys mid Frys are long time friends. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Williams spent the weekend with the Elbert Williams family over the weekend and the Earl Arnold family spent Sunday with them. Mrs. Mary Shumaker is spending a few days with her son. Martha Sendmeyer entered the Putnam County Hospital on Sunday and had surgery Monday morning.

Nation Enjoying Milder Weather By United frets International Much of the nation basked today hi warm, spring-like weather wafted in on mild southerly winds from the Gulf of Mexico and mild breezes from tixe Pacific. Mild temperatures extended as far north as the Canadian border with 60-degree readings marked across the southern Plains Into the Southwest. Helena, Mont., had 48 degrees when 30-degrees was the rule in the Carolinas. A three-day storm in the Pacific eased after raking the coast witlv high winds and heavy rains. More than 13 Inches of rain had raked Cape Blanco off the southern coast of Oregon during the storm, and rain continued today to the San Francisco Bay area. In the Willamette Valley of Oregon, the heavy rain sent several streams out of their banks, but no damage was reported. The Coquille River was four fest above flood stage Wednesday, forcing the Myrtle Point, Ore., schools to close. For the reet of the nation today, the weather bureau predicted sunny, mild and dry weather, with scattered showers in the far northwest and sprinkles along the Texas Gulf Coast and northern Great Lakes.
