R. V. Relinking Funeral Tuesday Services for Richard V. Reineking, 54, prominent Bloomington certified accountant, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Allen Colonial Chapel in Bloomington. Mr. Reineking, who was well known in this city, passed away Saturday. He is survived by his wife, the former Virginia Shirley of Greencastle; three sons, two sisters and his mother, Mrs. Grace Reineking of Martinsville. Mr. Reineking was active in church, fraternal and civic organizations. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Friends may call at the funeral home in Bloomington from 7 to 9 o’clock tonight. Funeral Tuesday For Mrs. Medley Mrs. Vashtie Nodley, 95, Cloverdale, died Saturday at the Donna Nursing Home. She was born in Kentucky, January 24,
1871.
Survivors are: one son, R. S. Nodley; three daughters, -Mrs. Nannie Johnson, Kentucky; Mrs. Ezra Neil, Hammond; and Mrs. Minnie Strange, Indianapolis; nineteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p. m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Rev. June Evans will officiate. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Cloverdale.
Rifes Tuesday For Tins. Spencer Thomas Spencer, 75, Cataract, died Sunday at the Putnam County Hospital. He was born in Dubois County, January 3, 1891, the son of Francis and Mary Spencer. He was a retired employee Of Allison’s in Indianapolis. Survivors are: his wife, Mary; one daughter, Louise Choat, Indianapolis; three sons, Francis, Alexandria; Chester Indianapolis and Herbert; one step son, 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Schnutzler Funeral Home in Huntington, with burial in Anderson Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o’clock Tues-
day.
Rites Held For George Hatcher George Hatcher, a former Greencastle resident, passed away last Wednesday in the Clay County Hospital at Brasil following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Maude and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two toothers and a sister. Services were held at the Lawson Funeral Home in Brazil Saturday aftegpoon with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Fred Fogo, 22, Gary, was arrested at 2:30 this morning on Ind. 43 north by City Officer James Grimes for having an expired driver’s license. The Castle Topper Home Demonstration Club will meet Wednesday, March 2nd., at 7:30 p.m. with Mrs. Vivian Murray, 901 Draper, with a lesson. Mrs. Robert J. Lee of East Lansing, Michigan, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Truman G. Yuncker, and her son, Terry Lee, a freshman in DePauw University. Funeral services for Arval Raab of Brazil, a former resident of Manhattan, who died Friday, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Lawson Funeral Home in Brazil. The Rev. Dallas Rissier officiated. Burial was in Croy’s Creek Cemetery. A panel of veterinarians are on the program for the adult farmer class at Bainbridge on Tuesday. The topic of discussion will be the prevention and control of livestock diseases. The panel will consist of Don Brattain DVM, Jerry Malayer DVM, and Garth KeUer DVM. The adult classes are a series of evening sessions which will continue every Tuesday through March on various agricultural topics. Any interested persons are invited to attend any of these meetings.

Tri Kappaa Sehadale Annual Benefit Bridge Greencastle’s bridge players probably need a lift from winter doldrums and here’s a good excuse to see a preview of Spring and get in an extra evening of bridge. Wednesday, March 10, marks tire day Tri Kappaa will hold their annual dessert benefit bridge and fashion Show. Starting at 7:30 p. m., dessert win be served followed by an informal fashion show of the latest Spring styles provided by Prevo’s. Tri Kappa members will model a variety to ensembles hi soft Spring colors from sportswear to formal attire, with accessories adding the final touch. Bridge will prevail for the rest of tho evening. The Northeast Elementary School multipurpose room will bo transformed into a spring tulip garden following along the major theme of “Tuliptime.” All the tables will be decorated in this manner with favors for all the participants and door prizes which will be announced toward the close of the evening. All Greencastle residents realize that the money secured from these projects goes to worthy causes in the form of scholarships or hospital equipment, eye-glasses, or help for some needy resident. Reception For Mrs. Ruby Everaum Roachdale Chapter Order of Eastern Star is honoring Sister Ruby Everaum, Grand Representative of Quebec. To be held in the Roachdale High School, March 5th 1966 at 8:00 p. m. This reception is open to the public. A nice program has been planned.
Mrs. Helen Pollom Hostess To Club Mrs. Helen Pollom was hostess for the Reelsville Social Service Club, Feb. 23, 1966. Sixteen members and four guests enjoyed a delicious dinner at the noon hour. The President, Mrs. Helen Jarrell opened the meeting at 1:30. Mrs. Mary Skelton led the club in repeating the Club creed. Jeffery Carr and Mrs. Lois Raab gave devotions. Roll call was responded to by giving an interesting incident about our Presidents. The regular business was transacted and Mrs. Ruth Lewis gave the topic for the afternoon which was entitled ‘attics.” Mrs. Helen Jarrell and Mrs. June Jones were in charge of entertainment with the grand prize going to Mrs. Grace Thomas. Guests of the club were Mrs. June Jones and son, Jeffery, Mrs. Jean Hood, and little Miss Lisa Rowings, granddaughter of Mrs. Blanche Reel. The next meeting will be March 23, with Mrs. Mary Skelton as hostess.
Miss Purcell Rates Scholastic Honorary Miss Glenda L. Purcell of Roachdale is one of 35 coeds to be initiated into Alpha Lambda Delta scholastic honorary at Evansville College. A B-plus average or better for one quarter of the freshman year is the requirement for membership. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Purcell, Glenda is a freshman at EC where she is majoring in music education.
Local Man Dies Virgil Branntman died Monday morning at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Whitaker Funeral Home in Greencaatle.

The bride wore a white organza gown with mimosa lace flowers and a pearl crown secured her veil. She carried a cascade bouquet with a white cattcya orchid surrounded with pink sweetheart roses and miniature white carnations. Grean ivy leaves edged the bouquet. Miss Corliss Wagley of Indianapolis was maid of honor. She wore a mallard blue full length taffeta gown and carried french carnations, tipped in light blue. Bridesmaids were Miss Linda Graves of Indianapolis, Miss Cathy Greeley of Brownsburg and Mrs. Steve Harris of Indianapolis. Roy Bailey's Rites Wednesday Roy Bailey, 77, well known Cloverdale resident died Sunday evening at the Putnam County hospital where he was admitted February 24th. He was born in Morgan County, August 4, 1888, the son of Robert and Mary Pearcy Bailey. He was a retired employee of Allison’s of Indianapolis. Survivors are: his wife, Mabel; one son, Kay Bailey, Cloverdale; two daughters, Mrs. Allene Yowell, Franklin, and Mrs. Yetive Bain, Indianapolis; one brother, Roscoe, Martinsville and one sister, Helen Patrick, Vincennes, and seven grandchildren. Kappa Delta Phi Entertains Guests The members of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority entertained their husbands, sweethearts and friends with a steak dinner at the Elks Club in Brazil. Door prizes were won by Josef Sharp, Maurice Hurst, Michael Lewis and Robert Matthews. This was our annual Valentine Party and ’twas enjoyed by all who attended. Again may we urge all members to be present at regular business meeting, Tuesday, March 1, 1966 at Indiana Gas & Water Co. office. This is an important meeting, in as much as we are having inspection of the chapter along with a film on cancer.

Boy Is Attacked By Vicious Shark SYDNEY, Australia UPI—A 13-year-old boy attacked in four feet of water by a vicious gluepointer shark was in critical condition at a hospital today but doctors were hopeful they could save his legs. Five lifeguards risked their lives Sunday to rescue Raymond Short after the eight-foot shark attacked him only 30 yards from shore at Coledale, a vacation resort south of Sydney. The guards raced into the surf, grabbed the boy—his legs in the jaws of the shark—and dragged him to the beach. They had to beat the shark to death before freeing tbe boy. Experts said bluepointers are considered among the most ferocious sharks and had been responsible for 17 well-docu-mented attacks on humans along beaches in Australia, South Africa and California.
