Bible Thought Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Mark 8:84. Discipleship involves high cost but great privilege. It makes demands but it offers rewards. It imposes restrictions, but it leads to freedom. We talk so glibly about confessing Christ. Are we willing to make the meaning of the cross that of our confession?

The crowning touch to the “nude look” that has infected the spring collections was the tongue-in-cheek “bridal” gown that wound up the saintLaurent show. A manequin glided out wearing only a white bikini bottom, silver shoes and sprays of lillies-of-the-valley hiding her chest and face. Saint-Laurent got on the bare knees bandwagon by hoisting his hemlines two to three inches above the knees. But buyers said whether they will manufacture clothes at that length still depends largely on what designers Hubert de Givenchy, Gabrielle Chanel and Christobal Balenciaga display thes week. Patricia Lawford Granted Divorce GOODING, Idaho UPI— Patricia Kennedy Lawford, sister of the late President John F. Kennedy, Tuesday ended her 11year marriage to movie star Peter Lawford with an Idaho quickie divorce.

Sheer Organdy Dresses Unveiled PARIS UPI — Designer Yves Saint- Laurent unveiled a Follies Bergere-like spring fashion of sheer organdy short dresses with only beaded bikinis underneath. Although high fashion has ignored the bosom this year, Paris is burning with the “nude look” cut-outs, bare midriffs, shoulders and backs. Buyers who viewed the opening Saint-Laurent presentation were either amused or scandalized by the organdy shifts with demure long sleeves and high necklines. Underneath the models wore nothing but a few rows of strategically placed beads and bas that bared the
navel.

The report was made by the International Joint Commission. The commission is conducting an investigation requested by the two governments in October, 1964. The report said these three
steps should be taken "as boos as possible: —Purification of all municipal and industrial wastes before discharge into these waters “to achieve the maximum possible removal of phosphates,” which act as fertilizer for algae. —Banning construction of sewers carrying both sanitary and storm waste and initiation of a program to separate combined sewers already in exis-
