Wedding Vows Solemnized At Indianapolis Methodist Church Miss Sherryl Lyn Burroughs and James Eugene Duell were married December 26th at 2:00 o’clock in East Morris Street Methodist Church, Indianapolis. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Leona Burroughs, 814 South Lyons Street, Indianapolis, and Norman Burroughs, 316 North Burke Street, Indianapolis. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse C. Duell, 208 North Burke Street. The bride wore a Chantilly lace gown with seed pearl and sequin trim. Her veil was secured by a crown of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of yellow and white chrysanthemums. Miss Carol Johnson of Greenwood was maid of honor. Miss Kendra Burroughs, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. They wore red velvet gowns and carried white muffs. John Duell, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Larry Byrd was groomsman. Ushers were Danny and Gilbert Duell, brothers of the bridegroom and David Farlowe. The newlyweds are residing at 18 East 37th Street, Apartment 5, Indianapolis. The bridegroom is a senior at General Motors Institute, Flint, Michigan.

The program will be given by Dr. Floyd Peterson who will speak on "Musical Aesthetics in Soviet Russia.” Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zeiner of Vincennes are the parents of a son, Todd Arthur, that was bom Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital. Grandparents of the child are Mr. and Mrs. Lois Zeiner of Fillmore and Mrs. W. R. Padgett of Greencastle. The Christian Women’s Fellowship Of SierWOOd fibHoHaw Church will meet Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7:30 at the home of Ida Alice Clark with Betty Ellen Johnson es co-hostess. Mrs. Mary Zieg will give the study and the worship will be given by Glenna Turner. Everyone of the Clinton Falls Community is invited to a turkey supper at the church basement Thursday, January 13, at 6:00 p. m. The meat, rolls and drink will be furnished. Castle Toff 01 * Meet With Mrs. Cooper The Castle Toppers Home Demonstration Club met Jan. 5, at the home of Mrs. Delmar

The meeting was called to order by the 1965 president, with the "Thought of the Month," the Flag Salute, the Club Creed and the Song of the month, "When you and I were young, Maggie." The history of the song was quite interesting. The secretary’s report was read and accepted. The treasurer’s report given and her books audited. It was voted to

pay bills.

At this time the newly elected president took over the meeting. Due to difficulties the new officers will be installed in February. The new program books were completed. The members had discussed ths amendment of the County Constitution and voted for the amendment. The leaders for the Cheese Cookery lesson wished to wait until February to give the lesson so it could be given by demonstration. The members voted for the club to pay for food used in the foods lessons this year. The meeting was dismissed with the Club Prayer. Games were played during the eocial hour and won by Ruth Staggs, Gladys Spiker and Virginia Starr. The door prise was won by Carol Cooper. Lovely refreshments were served by the hostess. Hie February meeting will be

held at the home of Ruth Staggs.

Mrs. Robert McKamey Is Hostess To Club On Thursday, January 6, Mrs. Robert McKamey was hostess to the Homemakers Ext. Club. Present were 13 members, 13 children and three guests, Mrs. Ernest Price, Mrs. Donald Carmichael, and Mrs. Robert Glover, who became members of the Club. Mrs. Alva Cash won the door prize. The president, Mrs. Irvin Simmons, opened the meeting. The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. Mrs. Jerry Huber lead the group in the Home Economics Creed and Mrs. Herbert Nickerson led the Pledge to the American Flag. Mrs. Verlain Fidler led the group in singing. Mrs. Robert Patten suggested that we

have a Secret Sister. It was voted on and approved. Our lesson was,on Cheese Cookery, given by Mrs. Robert Patten and Mrs. Charles Branneman. The lesson leaders fixed two different dishes. One was Big Burger Bake and the other was California Cheese Dip. It was served along with potato chips and green lima beans. * The next meeting will be h^jld Feb. 3, and the hostess, Mfs. Max F. Smith, with the aid <)f Mrs. Verlain Fidler, will givqj a lesson on meat cookery. The meeting will be called at 11 a4n.
