Two Charged In Arson - Murder TROY, NY. UPI — Two brothers who helped carry the bodies of nine children from a burned-out building last year were charged with setting the fire that killed them. Police said John M. Kilduff, 24. a machine operator, and his brother, George, 22, a truck driver, were known in this upstate community as “fire buffs,” who frequently helped firemen at fires. They were arrested at the scene of a fire Saturday. The brothers were charged with first degree murder and first degree arson in the fire last year, and third degree arson in Saturday’s fire. Police said the K i 1 d u f f s watched for three hours as the home of Napoleon B. Sousie burned Feb. 29, 1964. Then they helped remove the bodies of Sousie’s grandchild and eight of his 18 children. The children ranged in age from two to 18.

Five Crewmen Lost Overboard DUBLIN. Ireland UPI—Five crewmen of the Norwegian destroyer Bergen were' washed overboard in mountainous seas off the north coast of Ireland Monday, the Irish Navy reported. The Bergen, a former British destroyer, radioed the Irish naval station at Haulbowline Reo that she was searching an area bout 25 miles north of Portrush in northern Ireland, for the lost men. Several other ships were reported hurrying to the scene but hope of finding the five men alive was reported remote because of fierce westerly gales and mountainous seas.
Negroes Apply For Vote Rights LINCOLNTON, Ga. UPI — More than 20 negroes applied for voter registration rights Monday and were tentatively approved. If they meet residency and other requirements, they will be able to vote for Georgia’s next governor and a U.S. senator in September 1966. County authorities received the Negro applicants, the first in a new voter registration campaign, without incident. Authorities pointed out that books have always been open to Negroes for registration.

A man is presumed innocent until proven guilty.” The indictment charged that the withdrawal of some $4 million since 1961 “Through various devices” led to American Allied's insolvency. The indictments contain 11 counts of mail fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy. Among those indicted are insurance men from four states and 15 insurance companies.
