LETTER

to the EDITOR

500 S. Third Street Frankfort, Indiana

To the Editor,

A few days ago, I had occasion to visit your city. I was surprised to find that the people of Greeneastle are very friendly, and eager to help strangers. My sister accompanied me on the trip. The ladies in the Recorder’s Office in the Putnam County Court House were very nice. Mrs. Evelyn Spencer of the Putnam County Board of

Health, was especially helpful and a real delight to talk with. Your city is lovely. We en- ; joyed a delicious lunch at Hirt’s House Cafe, after having been directed there by a group of gracious young ladies, who were enjoying a conversation in the basement of the court jhouse. Forest Hill is the most beau- ! tiful cemetery I have ever seen. It is well kept, interesting, and was a gorgeous sight with the trees in their fall foliage. It was our pleasure to visit Greeneastle. We will come again in the near future. Thank

! you.

Very sincerely yours, Mrs. Wayne Fausett
