Court Upholds Death Sentence INDIANAPOLIS UPI — The Indiana Supreme Court Wednesday upheld the conviction of Emmett O. Hashfield, 59, sentenced to die in the electric chair for the 1960 slaying and dismemberment of 11-year-old Avril “Honey” Tern.', daughter of a Boonville physician.
