1966 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA HAS MANY PERFORMANCE OPTIONS The 1966 Plymouth Barracuda, the sporty compact fastback which concerts into a roomy cargo carrier, offers an Imposing list of performance options. They include front wheel disc brakes, fast ratio manual steering, and the Formula S package consisting of the Commando 273 V-8 engine with a four-barrel varburetor, heavy duty suspension system, tachometer, and heavy gauge wide rim 14-inch wheels with Blue Streak competition tires. New features include the grille, instrument panel, medallions, turn indicators, and shell-type busket seats. A new, longer console is available with four-speed manual or automtaic transmission.
SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN CHRYSLER FOR 1966 The Chrysler. 196.Vs “success car,” contains many significant exolutionary improvements for 1968. The cars arc styled to provide stronger identity for each of the four series in the Chrysler line: the New Yorkers, the 300s. the Newports, and the Town and Country station wagons. New features include more powerful engine options, new seating arrangements, and a wide variety of equipment options. Introduced for the first time is a new 440-cubic inch V-8 engine, which is standard with a four-barrel carburetor in the New Yorker and optional in a high-performance version on all models. There are 13 models available. Shown are two views of the 300 two-door hardtop, most changed in appear* ance of all the 1966 Chrysler models.

Schroeder, grand worthy president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, said Thursday it might be a good idea to have separate chapters for Negro Eagles. “I think I'm not in favor of being against the Negroes, but certainly I think that if they feel as though they would like to form a chapter and work along the same lines we are. maybe the colored order of Eagles might be the thing.” Schroeder, a Dover, N. J., industrialist, said before an address to a group of white Eagles.

Cosmos 91. the Tass news agency reported The series of unmanned satellites has been used for exploratory work in space preparatory to a manned moon flight. The satellite carries instrumentation to continue space exploration under the Cosmos program announced on March 16. 1962, Tass said.
