Miss Huber, a pert brunette, was crowned by Richard L. Roudebush, Sixth District Congressman, in appropriate coronation ceremonies on the pub-

Music was furnished by students of the school consisting of a trumpet trio, vocal trio, and a pantomime. Students were introduced by their teacher, John Wilson. Township Farm Bureau President, Noble C. Fry, conducted the business meeting and introduced Charles Felkner. County 4-H agent. Mrs. Frances Asher. Mrs. Mildred Harvey. and Byron Gough, tow r nship 4-H Leaders. Mrs. Asher paid tribute to the Speedy Sparrows 4-H members and their accomplishments. Audrey Harvey gave a summary of the years work and awards won by the memebrs of the Peppy Peppers 4-H Club. Brvon Gough summarized the accomplishments of the Hustling Hawks Club members and made recognition of outstanding awards won at the county fair and state fair. Announcements were made concerning the County Achievement Program to be held October 1. The annual county Farm Bureau business meeting to be held October 21, and the next township Farm Bureau meeting to be held Nov. 18 with the officers in charge. A nominating committee for township officers was appointed as follows: Wayne Thompson. chairman; Leonard Hays, and Joseph Brothers. 20 Years Ago Luther Poynter and John Vermillion joined the staff of the Firestone Home and Auto Store, manager Claude Webb announced.
