37 Injured By Gas Explosions MILWAUKEE, Wis. UPI — Two explosions, apparently caused by leaking gas, ripped through neighboring frame houses within a 10-minute interval Monday night injuring 37 persons. Most of the injured were bystanders who had gathered across the street from the twostory dwelling where the first explosion occurred. The second blast went off directly behind the crowd. Eighteen ambulances carried the injured to three hospitals. No one appeared seriously hurt. Most injuries apparently were caused by flying debris.
