Some of them probably do not realise that schooling is a must if they expect to get ahead in this technical, scientific and space age. The young man or woman with only an elementary school education and even a high school diploma will find that it is a hard row to hoe today in securing any kind of employment in which the remuneration is in a higher bracket. Times have certainly changed since the horse and buggy days when a person with common school "learning" could secure a position of responsibility. In these days of automation, nuclear energy and contemplated trips to the moon and other planets, only the most highly trained person can look forward to a really good job. In other words, a college degree is what is needed if today's young folks expect to obtain positions that will enable them to live as well as they may be living in the homes of their parents. The higher the education, the brighter prospects are for the modern day youth. Education is indeed a MI ST!
