today, with judging continuing in the Coliseum and swine barn along with a pie eating contest
at the women’s building! Today’s activities also in-
cluded dairy and beef cattle open class judging, open class swine and open class and gold
medal sheep judging.
On the lighter side, a pie eating contest is scheduled for members of the press, radio and television in the women's building, while harness racing was scheduled to arrive under
the lights tonight.
The grand champion open barI row was picked Thursday. It i was a Duroc owned by Laverne Weller and Sons of Dwight, HI., with the Shoup Brothers of I Michigantown taking the reserve prize with a Hampshire. The second round of the rooster crowing contest was scheduled for today, following the first victory in the contest by an out-of-state entry in the event’s five-year history. “Bugler,” a cross breed bantam owned by Gordon Davis of Mt. Zion, HI., crowed 49 times in the 30 minutes set aside for the contest to make it into the finals, which are scheduled for
Sunday.
Stew'art Brothers, R. R. 8, Grensburg, took both the champion Angus bull and Angus heifer honors in judging Thursday, while Paul Stewart of Cambridge City was reserve champion in the bull judging and John Wyrich, Sharpsville, took the same spot in heifer
j judging.
In other swine judging Thursday, Larry Stanley of Coatesville had the champion and reserve champion Berkshire barrow, while Parkison A Rodibaugh of Rensselaer, turned the same trick in the Chester White class.
schedule Is planned. Mr. Randall Will speak twice in the morning —at the Bible school hour and at the morning worship service. A fellowship dinner for all present is planned at noon, with a program of colored slides to follow at 2:00 P.M. At 7:00 P.M. Mr. Randall will be showing a sound, color film entitled “Light From The Dark Country” covering the missionary activity of the Christian churches in Central and South Africa. The public is cordially
invited to all services.
Mr. Randall is a second generation missionary having lived in South Africa with his parents for some eight years, his father being the superintendent of the South African Church of Christ Mission. He returned to the states in 1957 to begin his college education and has received both the Bachelor of Sacred Literature and the Batchelor of Theology degrees from Minnesota Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has served churches in Austin and Fari-
bault, Minensota.
Mr. Randall is at present completing training for a private pilot’s license, expecting to use this to great advantage in Africa. Mrs. Randall attended Minnesota Bible College for 2 years and recently passed the Minnesota State Board examination in Practical Nursing. “ The Randalls plan to leave for the field in March of 1966 under the direction of the Central
African Mission.

Santo Domingo Leaders Change SANTO DOMINGO UPI — Rebel Col. Francisco Caamano Deno, "constitutional president” of a square mile of downtown Santo Domingo, formally yields his authority today to Dominican provisional Presilent Rec-
tor Garcia Godoy.
Caamano summoned available members of the congress dissolved two years ago this month to a mass meeting in the rebel sector to announce that he is stepping down and to urge his followers to support Garcia. The rebel leader bases his claim to the presidency on his “election” by a similar mass meeting May 2, a week after the outbreak of a revolt which unseated the civilian junta heded by Donald Reid Cabral. The junta headed oy Brig. Gen. Antonio Imbert Barrera, which controls most of the Do-
minican Republic, formally resigned Monday night but actually will remain in control until Garcia is installed later today.

Indiana Traffic Toll Hits 939 By United Pr«»i International A death in a one-car accident in Carroll County early todayraised Indiana’s 1965 traffic fatality toll to at least 939 compared with 852 a year ago. Richard Lee Wilcox, 25, Monticello, was killed when his car went out of control on Indiana 18 east of Delphi and hit a bridge rail. Police said he apparently fell asleep at the wheel. Michael Hefferman, 55, Montgomery, was killed Thursday night south of Washington when his car went out of control on Indiana 57, swerved into a ditch and hit a concrete abut ment.
Steel Talks no good prospects, the steel companies once again wall begin the coirtly process of banking their great blast furnaces and coke ovens in mticipation of a strike. This action undoubtedly would put a damper on continued bargaining. There were reports that if the
stalemate continued the administration was prepared to offer its own version of a settlement as a posible compromise. Labor Secretary W. Willard Wirtz and Commerce Secretary John T. Connor, who have been sitting in on the negotiations since they were shifted to Washington. were said to have worked out the compromise.
