The girl was able to walk from the doctor’s office after being treated. ■Whitney said he placed an emergency call for the anti snake bite serum when he learned that local druggists had none available. Indianapolis and state police rushed the serum here. Whitney said Dawn had to “knock the snake off her after she was bitten.” A number of dogs in the lake area have been bitten by snakes this summer, he said.
