Bainbridge, Morton, Groveland Hold OES Inspection Thursday

Bainbridge, Morton * Groveland chapters met at Groveland Masonic Hall Thursday night, Aug. 12 for their annual Inspec-

tion.

Preceding the meeting, a dinner was served. The tables were beautifully decorated with summer flowers. The chapter room was decorated with baskets of flowers. In the East the Grand Matrons motto, "Let all that you do be done in love.'* and a white cross covered with red rose. In the west was Electa's Cup and on the fall the words "Service and Love.” Because of the illness of Sallie Turner, the Grand Matron, the associate G.M., Norma Hamilton, was in charge of the Inspection. Moore, director of sales in the West, that a need exists for prompt restoration of vital health services in the Watts area and adjacent neighborhoods. Deputy, Marilyn Proctor; 8th Dist. Deputy. Francella M. Royer; 17th Dist. Deputy, Helen L. Burkhart. The initiatory work was put on by Bainbridge chapter and the closing by Morton chapter. There were 123 present and 22 chapters were represented. Norma Hamilton gave a brief address followed by Grana Patron, Grand Marshal and Marilyn Proctor, district 9 deputy. All thanked the chapter for the many courtesies extended them. Punch and cookies were served in the dining room after the meeting.
