Says Chiropractor Is A Physician INDIANAPOLIS UPI — A chripractor is a physician within the meaning of an Indiana law as a result of a ruling by Atty. Gen. John J. Dillon. The opinion resulted in response to a query from State Rep. Robert W. Gordon, DConnersville who questioned the definition of "physician” in a law concerning the pay of county coroners. The law specified “if the county coroner is a physician duly licensed to practice as such in this state, then his salary shall be one and one-half times the base salary.” Dillon said. “Chiroapractors. like doctors of medicine, osteopaths, podiatrists and dentists, practice the healing arts, receive professional training and must be licensed by a professional board to practice their

science.”
