Boy Asleep In Trash Container
FORT WAYNE. UPI — An all-night search for 10-year-old Charles Snyder, Jr., ended Thursday when a policeman found him asleep in a trash container.
Hot Weather Is Back In State
Charles lost track of time Wednesday night while playing, and when he learned how late it was he was afraid to go home. He got a blanket, wrapped up in it to ward off the chill, and climbed in the trash can to spend the night.
But his worried parents called the police. About 50 officers and firemen spent the night scouring the area, including a search with boats and grabbling hooks in a reservoir.
ty United Prtu International A blast of mid-August heat sent temperatures spinning toward the 90s in Indiana today. Forecasts indicated if it fails to do the job this afternoon, it will accomplish the goal Saturday. Highs ranging from 86 to 93 were forecast, and the weatherman appeared unsure of himself for the said it could reach 86-90 north and 86-93 central and south. After warm minimums ranging from 65 to 73, the mercury will climb to a range of 90 to 97 Saturday, with northern points just as likely as southern points to get the hottest readings.

Solo Voyager Facing Danger
FALMOUTH, England UPI— Cleveland newsmen Robert Manry. battling rising winds and strong tides, sailed today Into the most hazardous stretch of his 3.200-mile solo voyage across the Atlantic in the IS 1 *- foot sailboat Tinkerbelle.
There was a chance of scattered thundershowers in the northern third of the state late Sunday, otherwise the forecasts called for sunny weather the next three days. The five-day outlook indicated it may turn cooler Tuesday or Wednesday. But up to that time, temperatures will average 5 to 9 degrees above normal highs of 83 to 89 and normal lows of 60 to 68. Precipitation will total onefourth to one-half inch, coming as showers Monday or Tuesday and Wednesday.
We may balance out pretty well in the scales of our own society, but where is the man who is willing to be weighed by Gods standards?

Even Bad Bidders Get Good Practice
By Alfred Sheinwold
One of the few advantages of bad bidding is that you get practice at playing atrocious contracts. A good bidder, lacking this practice, may falter when he is unexpectedly caught in a trap.
