NEW YORK UPI — Three Negro terrorists who plotted to blow up American shrines of liberty were sentenced to ten years in jail Thursday. A shapely Canadian accomplice who turned on them at the trial got a five-year sentence. The three members of the proCastro Black Liberation Front (BLF) stood stolidly before federal judge William B. Herlands and heard themselves described as “hate-inspired” conspirators who planned a grand hate-Amer-ica gesture. The three — Robert Steele Collier, 28, Walter Augustus Bowe, 32, and Khaleel Sultarn

Sayyed, 22 — were convicted last Monday of plotting to dynamite the Statue of Liberty, the Washington Monument and the Liberty Bell. Their accomplice—blonde. 27- ' year-old Michelle Duclos, a former Canadian television personality and an activist in Canadian separatist groups—pleaded guilty at the outset of the trial to charges of smuggling dynamite in from Canada for the three ; conspirators. She testified for the prosecution at the trial and was termed by prosecutor Stephen E. Kaufman a “most cooperative witness who is truly penitent and has been very helpful to the government.”
