Neutron Film Will Be Shown A 40-minute color movie on “Neutron Activation Analysis” will be shown to the public tonight at 7 p.m. in the chemistry lecture room of Minshall Hall at. DePauw University. The sound film probes the nature, potentialities and applications of neutron activation analysis, a highly seensitive and powerful analytical technique that his grown out of the study of peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Among the recent applications of the method are the fields of scientific crime detection, geology and agriculture, medicine, the petroleum and chemical industries, and the semithe senior high school. Freedom Fund Banquet May 9 Attorney Theodore D. Wilson will be the featured speaker at the second annual Freedom Fund banquet sponsored by the Greencastle branch of the N.A.A.C.P. Mr. Wilson is Assistant Attorney General for the State of Indiana, the highest state office currently held by a Negro, and has also worked with the Indiana Civil Rights Commission. The banquet will be held on May 9 at 6:00 p.m., in the cafeteria of the senior high school. Mrs. Sharon Taylor, Frank Trigg, Mrs. Helen Copeland, Dr. Clifton Phillips, Dr. and Mrs. William Petrek, and DePauw students Sarah Roberts and Sandy Jones head committees in charge of planning and coordinating the event.

Mrs. Joe Brothers drove children to the Shrine Circus Friday afternoon in Indianapolis. They were Johnnie, Billie, Jimmie, Ronnie and Becky Jo Brothers and several children from Roachdale. Mrs. John Williams also drove a group consisting of Mrs. Gloria Shillings and her sons, David, Mike, Raymond, Steven and Andrew and Billy Dean. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Clodfelter and children, Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Damon Lawrence and sons and Mrs. Hazel Sutherlin were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Mary Virginia Clodfelter Debbie Reed and Candy Bridges attended a slumber party with Linda Everman in Russellville Friday night.

The group toured a museum, took a bus trip around tha 500-mile track and visited other places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Borden and Mrs. John Williams were in Oxford, Ohio, when Miss Nancy Borden was crowned 1965 Greek Week Queen at Miami of Ohio University. Mrs. Nona Routh and Mrs. Olive Baird called on Mrs. Jaunita Graham in the Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Sunday afternoon. j Mrs. Verna Miller spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Cox in Danville.
