The tea table was beautifully decorated with lighted candles and a floral center piece with letters attached to it. The cake was decorated like a letter. Mrs. Velda Nees, who has lived on R. R. No. 3 a number of years, presented Mr. Fry with a white carnation with a 5 cent postage stamp placed on it. Mrs. Voshel Frazier preesnted Mrs. Fry with a corsage of red roses. A thank you speech from Mr. Fry was enjoyed by all. A cash gift and cakes were given by the patrons of R. R. No. 3. The cakes that were left were sent to the Donna Nursing Home and the Eventide Nursing Home. Out of town guests came from Bainbridge, Martinsville, Greencastle, Belle Union and Eminence.
