4-H News The fourth meeting of the Jolly Juniors 4-H Club was held April 13th. at Reelsville School with thirty-one members at-

tending.

The meeting was called to order by the president, Brenda Sutherlin. Janine Sutherlin and Terri Hood led the club in the pledges to the American and 4H flags. Wanda Morlan, secretary, read her report and roll was answered by naming a favorite flower. Vicki Lindsay and Terri Hood led the group in a song and a health and safety report was given by Shirley Albright. Two denomstrations were given: Kathy Bristow' told about the meanings of markings on patterns pieces and Wanda Morlan gave tips on personal grooming. The 1965 program books, planner and made by vice president, Kathy Bristow with the assistance of Wanda Morlan and Sally Killion, were passed out. A work period for the younger girls was held with each junior leader helping her special first or second year member. Work was begun on record books and project questions were answered. Refreshments were served and the meeting was adjourned.

The Speedy Sparrows 4-H Club of Roachdale met Feb. 11, 1965 at the school building and organized their dub and elected officers for the coming year. They are as follows: President— Carol Malayer; Sec. & Treas.— Anita Perkins; Health & Safety | —Angela Frazier; Song Leader — Toni Johnson; Recreation Leader — Karen Bowers; News Reporter— Dona Gibson. On April 13, the second meeting of the year w'as held. Karen Bowers led the pledge to the U. S. Flag and the 4-H flag. Roll call was answered by each member giving her age.

Anita Perkins gave the minuts and gave the treasure's report. Toni Johnson gave a demonstration on Handicraft, and Karen Bowers led us in a game after which the meeting was adjourned.
