along the Eastern Seaboard and the Midwest. This is the time of year when the corporation annual meetings build to their biggest volume and in keeping with a trend which has grown slightly more marked in recent years, major companies have moved around the sites of their gatherings. For example, the holder of the two principal telephone stocks, American Telephone and Telegraph and General Telephone and Electronics would have to make a choice on Wednesday: to Philadelphia with AT & T or to Boston with GT & E. He would have had good news at either meeting; both reported rosy prospects ahead and sound present conditions. On Thursday', his selection would have been obvious. He’d have had to check airline ac-
tecting his own interests by gettnig first-hand information on the state of his investments, he presumably would not mind working a six-hour week. He could stay in the Chicago area if he liked, and attend the G. D.
Searle meeting.
On Sunday he could rest, and he should. Busy as was this week, he would have to make up his mind where to go on the last Tuesday of April, the 27th, when literally scores of meetings will vie for his attention.
