lead 46-37.
Chadd opened up on the net net and dropped in a field goal with Hurst on an assist close behind. Gerald York’s stolen ball was shifted to the scoring position and Hurst pulled down a foul putting the Cubs into
a 2-point lead.
Alan Cohen, a slight-of-hand artist, went wild and dropped enough stolen balls through the
nets to put the Rockets back Jackson 3 in a four point lead. , j Simmons 5 Broad Ripple Coach Gene Ford 0 Ring was reminded of the bench Parnell 0
rule when the floor officials called him for leaving his seat and aw'arded the technical to Greencastle. However, tremendous pressure sent the ball off its mark and the foul was miss-
ed.
With less than half a minute to go in the game, Alan Cohen went to the line and dropped in a free throw to put the Rockets into a three - point lead. York came up with the ball and cut the three points to one with a field goal. Stan Hurst, with a stolen ball, w'ent to the line with eight seconds to play and the Cubs trailing by one point. The pressure proved to great for the 5’ 11” guard and he missed the attempt. Ron Blotch tied Bill Hull up under the basket and Gerald York grabbed the tip-off and called for time with three seconds left to play. It w'as then that little Alan Cohen became a severe blight in the hearts of the Greencastle fans. He practiced w'hat he had been doing all evening. He stole the ball from York on the passin and ended the game. Alan Cohen led the scoring for both teams with 20 points followed by Rickey Lee with 12. Ron Blotch, Bill Nanovsky, and Gerald York went into | double figures for Greencastle with 13, 13, and 14 respectively. The enterprising B-team dropped a ten-point decision to a hot rod Rocket squad as the spacemen pulled the Cubs down, 51-41. Jones and Allan led the Cub scoring with 11 and 10 while Hohso.:, Bockoski, and Simmons grabbed 16, 10 and 10 for Broad Ripple. Summaries: Varstiy Greencastle (60) FG FT PF
