On the basis of agreement in these three areas then, Leagues are supporting or opposing bills as they are proposed in the Legislature. For Example, two of the bills the League is sup-

porting are H. B. 1077 which would increase the maximum grant for dependent children, and H. B. 1534 (S.B. 337) which provides that in counties having a population of 100,000 or more administration of all poor relief would be transferred to the County Department of Publis Welfare on January 1, 1967.
