Faces Charges After Accident MISHAWAKA UPI — James J. Grolimund, 22, Elkhart, brother of the Elkhart city court judge, was to be charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless homicide today because his car was involved in a fatal accident Wednesday night. Robert A. Rune man, 29, South Bend, died shortly after his auto was sideswiped by Grolimund’s car as the latter was being chased by police in Mishawaka. Runeman’s wife, Joyce, 32, was listed in good condition at a hospital. Police said they chased Grolimund after clocking him at speeds up to 70 miles per hour in a 40-mile zone. His car sideswiped the Runeman auto as he passed a big truck. Grolimund’s car went out of control but he was not hurt. Runeman died en route to the hospital. Police said a seat belt saved Mrs. Runeman’s life. St. Joseph County prosecutor Thomas Roemer said he would file the charges aganist Grolimund in Superior Court 2 this afternoon. Grolimund is the brother of

Elkhart City Judge Joseph Grolimund.
