SERVE A BUFFET SUPPER ... IN THE KITCHEN

Many of the best parties end in the kitchen. So why not a buffet supper that starts there? It’s fun and an infonaa! way to entertain. Choose a menu that answers all needs . .. one that has a hearty main dish and that can be served, if you like, right in the same container in which it’s cooked. Veal Marengo is ideal. Tender veal cubes, browned with garlic and seasonings, are cooked in flavorful canned condensed tomato soup with frozen peas, small white onions, and sliced mushrooms. All are simmered together for a lusciously food and colorful mixture to be served over fine egg noodles. Especially appealing to go along with this savory entree is S big bowl of tossed crisp greens dressed with oil mid vinegar. Assorted cheeses and seasonal fresh fruit along with hot •offee round out the menu. This is for 1% and will go to a holiday table, too.
