Fincastle News Many from here attended the tourney at Greencastle last week-end. Mrs. Olive Baird and sons, David and James and Miss Betty Rady helped Joe Baird celebrate his birthday on the 14th.

Jesse McMurtry fell on the street in Greencastle thu past week and received ft severely crushed arm. He is confined to the Putnam County Hospital. Mrs. Mae Priest arrived here the past week to spend the winter with Mrs. Alice Keck. Mrs. Mary Virginia Clodfelter and Mrs. Maude Brothers accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Gene Clodfelter and family to Indiana]. Dlis Friday and had supper with Mr. and Mrs. James Carroll and daughters. The Clodfelters were not able to

reach their heme until Monday f afternoon due to the snow drifts. Mrs. Elizabeth Gilbert was taken to the Friendship nursing home in Ladoga last week. Harvey Hale has entered the nursing home near Frankfort. Mrs. John Williams spent the week-end with her sister, Mrs. Kathleen Allen near Clin-

ton.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brothers and children drove Mrs. Mink to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sunday where she will spend

some time. Douglas and Jeanna Clodfelter are staiying with their grandmother while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Clodfelter are driving Mrs. Bertha Clodfelter to Brownsville, T , where she will spend a few

months.

The Clodfelters expect to spend a week in Florida befou returning home.
