Meeting The Willing Workers of ‘‘65" held their first meeting on Thursday, December 3rd at | 7:00 p.m. It was held at the home of their 4-H leader, Mrs. : June Harbison. Cloverdale Past Matrons Club Held Xmas Party - The Cloverdale Past Matron’s Club held their annual turkey ttimiei* and Christmas party at the Community Building. The committee in charge was Mrs. Helen Johnson, Mrs. Florence Arnold and Mrs. Taletha ■flay. Unfortunately, Mrs. Arniold and Mrs- Ray could not attend on account of sickness. oMrs. Johnson assumed the sole responsibility of hostess and proved herself to be an excellent one; i As .each entered the room Jthcy.were greeted by a beauti/Ul .scene, the bright lights, the .Christmas tree with its pretty lights, ornaments and tinsel.

, There were other decorations in keeping with the holiday season. The members were first seated in the smaller room for a friendly chat, until the call for dinner. Going into the larger room there was the long table with its beautiful setting, the snow white table covering, the appropriate decorations of candles and Christmas colors with a large Christmas center piece, donated by Mrs. Arnold. There was also a pretty Christmas favor for each to take home. The delicious turkey dinner was prepared and served by the ladies of the Legion Auxiliary. After dinner and the tables cleared two very interesting contests were conducted by the
