Hunting Victim SCOTTSBURG U P I — Charles Robbins, 52, R.R. 2, Lexington, Monday was killed in an apparent hunting accident. His body was discovered about four miles east of her* near Indiana 3 and a Scott County road by his wife, and her son-in-law, James Wilson. State Police said evidence indicated the man was killed when his .20-gauge shotgun caught in a fence and discharged into his abdomen.

Gets Farm Term As a result of a public intoxication charge, James Denny, 22, city was fined $50 and costs and sentenced to serve six months at the Indiana State Farm by Judge Francis N. Hamilton in the Putnam Circuit Court Monday. Denny was arrested last week by officers on the north side of the public square and lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

Selby Changes Plea To Guilty SPENCER. UPI — Robert Selby, 41, Brazil, ended Ms firstl-degree murder trial before it got started Monday when he changed his plea to guilty of voluntary manslaughter. Selby was charged with the fatal shooting of Roy Stewart, Jr., also of Brazil, in September of last year. The defendant was charged with shooting Stewart in a cabin about 13 miles southwest of Brazil along Indiana 59. The voluntary manslaughter charge carried a sentence of 1221 years in prison. Owen Circuit Judge Austin Childress set Dec. 29 as the sentencing date.
