FILLMORE NEWS Mrs. Ruth Smith left Wednesday morning to visit Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jordan and son in Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pruitt, Mrs. Charles Smith and Dennis Bowen attended the first quarterly conference of the Methodist church Monday afternoon. Mesdames Betty Zeiner, Kathleen Day, Pauline Pursell and Berenice Smith attended the sub-Dist. W. S. C. S. meeting at Harmony Tuesday. Tuesday visitors of Mrs. Eve McNary were her cousins from Brazil. Mrs. Margaret Simonson and Mrs. Kathryn Kirk. In the afternoon all three called oon Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davidson at Coatesville, Mr.

Davidson is recovering from surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Evans visited Mrs. Hallie Runnells at the home ofo her daughter, Mrs. Ruth Pritchett, north of Dan- ' ville, Mrs. Runnell is no better. Mrs. Ora Sechman entered the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Friday for treatment. Mrs. Crystal Barker is a patient at the Putnam County Hospital, room 311. Johnny Tharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cassell Tharp, suffered a broken finger playing football at school Wednesday. He was treated at the Putnam County Hospital and released.
