West stepped up with the queen of hearts and returned his last trump, removing the last trump from the dummy. South still had to lose another heart, so that he lost two hearts, a trump and a club. Down one. South would h-'v-e made his contract if the six missing hearts were divided 3-3 or if East rather than West had held

Officials WASHINGTON UPI — House subcommittee has found that erstwhile Texas business tycoon Billy Sol Estes got no help from government officials through bribery or political pressure. But. the subcommittee said in a report released Sunday, the government could have been a lot more conscientious in its handling of the case. The report by the House government operations subcommittee covered an exhaustive two and one-half year study of most ot Estes' activities. It said the government did not lose any money to the Pecos, Tex., boy wonder.
