Appeal Filed In Libel Case ALANTA UPI — A federal court tribunal has taken under advisement an appeal by the Curtis Publishing Co. for a re- | trial of the Wally Butts libel case. Attorneys for the Saturday Evening Post said Thursday the S3.06 million awarded by the j jurors was a “monstrosity re- | turned by a biased and preju- | diced jury.” Butts' attorneys countered the evidence was so incriminating during the trial that the former ! University of Georgia football coach was entitled to a directed verdict on the question of malice.

Back to school days are peanut butter sandwich days. The peanut butter sandwich is obviously the most popular sandwich for youngsters. And well it should be. for just one tablespoon of peanut butter provides almost the same protein as an ounce of meat or a whole egg. The peanut butter and jelly combination shown here is the most well-known of the peanut butter sandwich fillings. Make a variety of other fillings by mixing peanut butter with grated raw carrot, applesauce, tomato catsup, marshmallow ereme, grated cheddar cheese, or deviled ham. For spur-of-the-Winute sandwiches, spread bread with peanut butter and top with •rumbled bacon, sliced pickle, pickle relish, bananas, or raisins.

Political Crisis Brews In Bolivia LA PAZ. Bolivia UPI—A bristling exchange of messages between President Victor Paz Estenssoro and Vice President Rene Barrientos made it appear today that a new political crisis may be brewing here. The seriousness of the situation was heightened because Barrientos, as a former commander of the air force, probably could count on considerable military support in any showdown with Paz. The vice president, who Is in the key provincial capital of Cochabamba, has demanded in mesages to Paz twice this week that the government end its censorship of the Bolivias press? and radio. Copies of both messages were made available to the press. The censorship is still In force. Wednesday night, after the receipt of Barrientos’ second message, government sources said censors have been ordered to eliminate all mentions of th* I rice president from news or advertising copy intended for pubj lication in Boliria.
