Beef mark thafs like sterling on silver! This stamp, repeated nine times on a side of beef, is like “sterling” on silver. These marks mean the U.S. Government is vouching for the purity of the product. Kroger sells only beef that carries the USDA stamp of inspection. It guarantees the wholesomeness. Whether you buy a filet, a brisket or ground chuck at Kroger — it’s all federally inspected beef. So why take chances anywhere else?
