FILLMORE NEWS Mrs. Hallie Runnels spent part of last week with her daughter, Mrs. Ruth Pritchett and family of Liston. Mrs. Mary Lisby underwent surgery Thursday at the Putnam County Hospital. ning with Mrs. Huldah Wright 1 and Friday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Day. ■ Mrs. Nellie Stilwell of Ontario, California, called Sunday on Mrs. Delia Herman in the Ruark Nursing Home. Last week callers on Ida and Charley Day were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wade and Mr. and Mrs. James Willis, of Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Leonard called on friends in Cloverdale Tuesday. Mrs. Nellie Suits and children of Fairland, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Leonard. The C.W.F. general meeting was held at the Christian Church Thursday afternoon. About 40 members and guests heard Mrs. John Boyd’s talk on {Puerto Rico. During the social

Ralph Ellis of Reelsville and Judith Baxter were united in marriage Friday evening in the Fillmore Methodist Church, with Rev. Melvin Hempfill reading the marriage vows. The reception which followed was in the Recreation Building. Fred Miller, former Fillmore resident underwent surgery at the Community Hospital in Indianapolis last Thursday.
