Peking delegate Chu Li-yang called his Russian hosts “unde|nocratic” parliamentary bullies. Soviet delegates accused the Communist Chinese of undermining the conference and slandering Kremlin leaders. The outbreak of the Sino-So-viet battle for world Communist leadership continued to dominate the gathering which met to condemn racists, imperialists and colonialists — and mostly the United States. But the U.S. got little attention in Wednesday's public session. Chu told the delegates he had great difficulty in gettifig per-

‘ We have been refused the right to express our opinions without any possible justification. This completely contradicts democratic procedure,’’ Chu said. He scoffed at the conference adoption of a resolution — written in closed door session — de-. nouncing the West for interference in Cyprus. “We would not like to vote cn a document without having it studied carefully beforehand.” Chu said. A third Mustang model — the “2 plus 2” fastback — joins hardtop and convertible Mustangs announced as the first of its 1965 cars by Ford Division last April. The new Mustang provides seating for four. Fold-down rear seats permit added luggage — including skis and other lengthy equipment — to be carried inside the car with driver and passenger. Functional air louvers styled into the rear roof quarter-panels provide an efficient, flow-through ventilation system for window-up driving free from wind noises and drafts in nearly all kinds of weather. Continued as standard equipment on all Mustangs are such sports and luxury features as bucket seats, molded nylon carpeting, floor-mounted shift for both manual and automatic transmissions, all-vinyl interior, padded instrument panel, and full wheel covers. The new Mustang 2 plus 2 joins the 1965 Mustang hardtop and convertible models in Ford dealer showrooms Friday. September 25.

BANKING THEN and <57 years of continuous service

Out of the past comes this photograph of the Central National Bank, a flourishing enterprise from the very start. Chartered as a National in 1883.

The front of the Central National Bank today with its newly installed lighted marquee. Throughout the bank the most modern equipment is used to provide the best of full bank service with the utmost safety. Always up to date, the Central National Bank is 81 years young!

The Growth of the Central National Bank Has Advanced with the Progress of the Community i. These past 81 years have been markeef by numerous national and world-wide crises. Major and minor depressions, booms, wars, national and man-made emergencies have carried millions of businesses and thousands of financial institutions to their doom.

From each such crisis, however, this bank has emerged with added strength. We hope that during these years we have made some contribution to the growth and prosperity of our community and to the cultural as well as the economic advancement of its people.

Growing business volume, population and bank deposits in the community demand increased banking capital to finance business and farming and for protection of depositors.

The deposits in this bank are not only insured by the Federal Insurance Corporation, but are guaranteed by the largest capital funds of any financial institution in Putnam County now aggregating.
