. LETTER TO THE EDITOR

-

Dear Ekiitor; Tiger Cubs? You will see a lot , , ^ , of kids having good, clean fun In reference to two articles that appeared in a column in b >' t€am members, Manyour newspaper last week. agers, cheerleaders and, of Maybe the writer of the article should go back to school to find out what is causing these things to happen. As a sophomore at the Great Greencastle Senior High School I realize that we do make misitakes and maybe could slow down, but don't forget “to err is human”. About rushing at noontime. You would too if you were hungry and had less than an hour to eat. * About the driving habits. I feel it isn't up to the school to say you Can't drive to school, but it is up to the parents. If the parents can’t tell their offspring not to drive, what kind of parents are they? Now on to the smoking problem. I don't smoke and really don't care to. But the young people that do. must buy them some place and it is the adults that sell' them to them. And who may I ask leave the machines out in public so that anybody can use them? The gnawer, adults. Now I don t have anything against adults mind you,., because I have a lovely set at home called par-

ents.

But when' adults do something and let their children do it once or twice, why not do it all of the time? Many adults should take a look at their driving habits. Maybe a policeman could spend a day at the corner of Walnut £ and Spring Streets. The poor | guy would get a terrible case of writer’s cramp from writing tickets for drivers (mostly adults) that don't stop and usually don't even slow down for the crossing. Now that I have said all of this, why don't the readers of this paper come to the ball games and support our Great

course, the lung power called the Pep Club.

1965 FORD FAIRLANE A new look of size and motion is combmed in the 1965 Fairlane, restyled from bumper to bumper for the first time since its introduction three years ago. Although new styling makes the middleweight Fairlane look bigger, it remains about the size of the 1956 Ford on the outside and the 1959 Ford on the inside. Improved ride and economy; new low-profile tries for greater directional stability, better traction and longer life; significantly improved interior quietness; alternators and automatic chokes standard on all engines; and a complete line of options including low-cost air conditioning are features of all 1965 Fairlanes including the Fairlane Sports Coupe (top).

WEATHER

AND

WHETHER

With these cool nights—the signs of smoke reaching skyward and some of the leaves starting to take on the color of fall, we are reminded of approaching winter and the limited time for cement work which is a necessity in the erection of CEMETERY MEMORIALS. WHETHER you plan to erect a MEMORIAL and have that unmarked grave memoralized through the long winter months is a decision for you alone to make. Our purpose is to remind you of the limited time left for this work—to invite you to visit our display and offer our years of experience in serving you. We have a complete stock from which to choose in nationally advertised granites and suggest you make your selection while weather conditions will permit erection.
