ty community today face possible jail sentences for serving liquor to teen-agers at private house parties. A dozen persons w r ere arrested Monday for violation of the little used statute. Among those arrested was a psychiatrist and his wife and a male school

teacher.

The arrests followed an investigation ordered by Circuit Court Judge Rodney S. Eielson into the highway death of 17-year-old Nancy Hitchings, daughter of an American Air-

vice president.

Testimony in Eielson’s court disclosed that Miss Hitchings and her escort the night of June 23. Michael Smtih, 18. had been served liquor at twm parties prior to the accident. Smith has been charged with negligent homicide in the grli’s death. His automobile crashed into a tree some hours after the couple had attended the parties.
