Dr. Miller, the son and grandson of Presbyterian ministers, was born in Middleboro, Kentucky. and grew up in the Valley of Virginia. After receiving A.B. and M A. degrees from Washington and Lee University he entered Princeton Theological Seminary and was graduated in 1918. He is the author of several Persian books, including a church history and commentaries on five books of the New Testament, as well as English books on the Bahai religion. Dr. Miller has seen far-reach-ing changes in the land that was once known as Persia. Since 1919 miles of new roads, thousands of modern buildings, schools, universities, hospitals, and government buildings are evidence of a new Iran . During the past 15 years Dr. Miller has helped to conduct a Summer School of Evangelism in which many Iranians have received training and inspiration.
