William Aker suffered a heart attack Sunday, he is confined to the Putnam County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Heber entertained at their home Sunday evening with an outdoor supper in honor of Mr. Heber and granddaughter Ruth Ann McAllister and great grandson Ronnie Warren, guests were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hutchison Jr. and sons Mark David, Ronnie and Donnie Warren of Manhattan Road; Kern and Shelly Hutchison of Harmony, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Perry and daughter Marilyn of Rockville; Mr. and Mrs. Bell Perry and daughter Ametra of Greencastle; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fidler of Thomas Lake and their grandsons, Guy

and Mrs. Don Heher, Mr. and Mrs. Larry McAllister and son Larry Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Larry McAllister and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burks and son Robbie, daughters Barbara and Patty. They all enjoyed a bountiful pitch-in dinner and a beautiful birthday cake baked by Mrs. Charles Fidler of Thomas Lake. He worked many years at the old Sand Plant at Fem. then owned by the Root Glass Co. of Terre Haute.

Palestine News This Community was saddened Monday morning by the tragic death of Mrs. Greatice Northern. She had lived in this community for a number of years. The community extends sympathy to the family. Mrs. Clarence Beck who spent several days in the Putnam County Hospital has improved. Mr. and Mrs. James White entertained their daughter and family Sunday. Jack Sutherlin and family of Brazil spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Beck.
