Church services were held Sunday morning after which everyone visited until mid-after-noon when it was time to break camp and head for home. The Hoosier Campers will hold their monthly camp-out at Lieber

Campers Enjoy Spring Camp-Out The spring camp-out of the Indiana members of National Campers and Hikers Association, was held June 6-7, at Fort Montgomery. near Knightstown. The hosts for this campout were the Hoosier Scooter’s Chapter from Knightstown. Those from the Hoosier Campers Chapter of Greencastle attending were, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Martin and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gray and family, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Clodfelter and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Applegate. Mr. and Mrs. Omer Reeves and daughter attended campfire ceremonies on Saturday night. Contests held at Saturday included: sack races, tug-o-war, horseshoe pitching and games. At the campfire program, Saturday night, ribbons were awarded to the winners of each contest, Larry Applegate brought home a ribbon for being a winner on the tug-o-war team and one for first place in the horseshoe pitching contest. A teen-queen contest was held to pick a queen j represent Indiana at the National Convention to be held in July, at Tamsin Park, near Akron, Ohio.
